Bluegrass in the Ozarks (Part Two)

This is a continuation of a two part post, please see part one here. So, on to Friday and Saturday at Mulberry Mountain for Yonder Mountain String Band's Harvest Fest! Bluegrass in the Ozarks (Part One)

Harvest Fest! Mulberry Mountain, SE of Fayetteville, Arkansas was the setting for Yonder Mountain String Band's Harvest Music Festival.  My first journey to Arkansas for a music festival, Harvest Fest was quite the experience.  "Wow, you came a long ways" was the typical response I received when I answered the inevitable, "where are you from?" query upon meeting so many new folks.  After working the Upper Midwest festival scene all Summer long, it was nice to journey South for some (slightly) warmer temperatures. No Meteors So Far

I went out to Palisades State Park in an attempt to grab some Meteor shots, with no success so far.  As I was driving to Palisades, I noticed a rather photogenic barn and treeline which I mentally noted to come back to on my way home if I struck out at Palisades.  Thankfully, I was able to grab a few solid shots which I stitched into a 4 shot panorama.  The final image is almost 8000 pixels wide (think about your 1900 pixel wide HD television...) so huge prints are possible with this finished image. I'll be featuring this photo as one of my Fine Art Prints of the month where I have 20x30...

Project Earth!!

Project Earth at Harmony Park this year was such an amazing experience. It's my fourth year now traveling to Harmony Park multiple times per year, and it just keeps getting better, every year.
